Brooklyn based Qew Lunel is successfully fashioning himself into a force to be reckoned with. Not only is he a spitfire recording artist, he has also been the CEO of Rock With It Entertainment since 2010. He is a dynamic artist, heavily influenced by genres such as hip-hop, rock, reggae, kompa and Afro beatz (amongst others) and his sound elicits an eclectic vibe with elements of J. Cole, Skip Marley, Kizz Daniel and Nas. Lunel’s appreciation for reggae is most apparent on his single “Love” (featuring Treesha) and his latest single “Party Hard” is a ribald celebration of life that is proudly trap Hip-Hop. The latter being a song inspired by the need for a fun, sensual release from the hardship of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Lunel was born and raised by a single immigrant mother from Haiti in the Searise Projects of Coney Island. Melodies and chords were his way of overcoming this environment, and the lifeblood behind his determination to succeed. It runs through his DNA. Instilled with an unbreakable core value system by his both his mother and personal trial and tribulation, Lunel is fixated (in the best way possible) on living out loud as his most authentic self. How? By spreading love and positivity through the universal language of humanity: Music.
